Skin Boosting & Bioremodelling with Profhilo, Sunekos and Jalupro
What is Skin Boosting?
Skin boosting or bio-remodelling involves the use of injectable high grade hyaluronic acid products using small needles to improve the structure, texture, and overall appearance of the skin. These innovative products also stimulate fibroblast proliferation, collagen synthesis, elastin production and significantly improve skin tone, radiation, hydration, and quality of skin. The results are noticeable very quickly and skin boosting is fast becoming the treatment of choice for all skin types and ages for natural looking skin rejuvenation.
They can be used across the whole face, detailed areas such as under and around the eyes, upper lip, chin, fine lines, cheeks, hands, neck, décolletage and even the body with little, if any, downtime.
Choice of Skin Booster – Profhilo, Sunekos and Jalupro
While Profhilo is one of the most popular skin boosting treatments available, other products are now available and proving to be just as effective. Each product has their own unique properties – e.g., concentration of hyaluronic acid, volume of hyaluronic acid, addition of amino acids & peptides etc… For example, we believe Profhilo, Sunekos 200 or Jalupro classic is best for overall face treatment whereas Sunekos 1200 or Jalupro HMW is best for under and around the eyes and other detailed areas due to the delicate nature of this area. Choice of skin booster will be discussed at full consultation.
Skin Boosting injections can be used in several places on the face and body, including:
- Full Face
- Neck
- Around eyes
- Lip and Chin
- Décolletage
- Body – Hands,
Profhilo Treatment
Often called a ‘lunchtime facial treatment’ with immediate results, Profhilo is a quick treatment – taking about 15 minutes with no downtime. It is injected just under the skin, using very fine needles, in ten pre-determined points; five injection points on each side of the face to give optimum results. The fine needle means the treatment is relatively painless, feeling like a small scratch, and usually does not require a topical numbing cream prior to treatment.
The Profhilo treatment which consists of two sessions, one month apart, this is to ensure maximum results are achieved. If signs of ageing are significant an additional treatment may be recommended four to eight weeks later. We also recommend, after approximately six months, an maintenance treatment to prolong the effect.
The effects of Profhilo are subtle but immediate; the skin will look smoother and brighter immediately following your first treatment. As time passes these effects are enhanced and can last up to six months, depending skin type and lifestyle.
Profhilo Injection Points
Profhilo has a comprehensive range of injections points with 10 injections administered in total, five on each side of the face. This technique allows us to focus the hyaluronic acid treatment where the skin appears the most relaxed and aged. By concentrating a defined volume of Profhilo in the most receptive points allows the treatment to diffuse through the available spaces, creating a natural and lasting and refreshed look.
Profhilo is injected into the following areas on both sides of the face:
· Zygomatic Protrusion (cheekbone)
· Nasal Base (in line with the nostril)
· Tragus (in line with the ear lobe)
· Chin
· Mandibular Angle (jawline)
As each face is unique the location of the points may vary very slightly, based on your face’s structure, to ensure the best results possible are achieved. Despite being a full face injectable treatment it is one of the anatomically safest available as it avoids large vessels and nerves.
Profhilo Injectable Skincare
Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid to address skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It is injected just below the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with the tissue to instantly boost hydration.
Immediately following the treatment there is a noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness, and lines are minimised. Over the next four weeks the Profhilo treatment works to boost elastin and collagen production, effectively remodelling the skin and giving it a plumper, smoother and firmer appearance.
For optimum results Profhilo requires two treatments, Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance produced in our body and found in our skin, joints and connective tissue, binds moisture in the skin and aids collagen production. With age hyaluronic acid production slows and the skin looks duller and dehydrated, with fine lines and wrinkles forming. Hyaluronic acid is best known as a ‘filler’ and is usually used to give volume to lips or to contour other areas of the face.
Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available for an aesthetic treatment. And due to the development process which thermally bonds, rather than chemically, the treatment acts as a high performance hydrator and not a filler. Its gel like consistency distributes smoothly and evenly without the formation of any lumps – a potential risk with traditional fillers. This means it can be used on areas which are difficult to treat with traditional fillers, such as the neck and forehead. Profhilo’s structure also allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration and smooth or ‘remodel’ the skin.

Sunekos Treatment
What is Sunekos?
It’s a patented formula of amino acids and Hyaluronic acid that stimulates the production of collagen and elastin – which are the main structural components of the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM). By repairing any damaged skin and boosting your own natural production of collagen and elastin, its rebuilds your skin through a process called dermal biogenesis – literally skin regeneration.
How is it different from other fillers?
Normal fillers contain Hyaluronic acid – which naturally occurs in the body and retains over 1,000 times its weight in water in the skin, keeping the area hydrated and moisturised.
Rather than just ‘filling in’ lines and wrinkles, Sunekos also contains a patented formula of amino acids, which are essential for the creation of healthy skin and promotes the body’s own production of collagen and elastin. This process rebuilds the dermal layers of the skin and restores the natural youthful look by tightening the area, improving skin hydration and texture and plumping wrinkles and lines out.
What can Sunekos treat?
This new product is extremely versatile and can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms, inner thighs, knees, and the under-eye area. Sunekos can treat many symptoms, including:
- Loss of skin tone, sagging and severe wrinkles
- Skin ageing
- Loss of hydration

Sunekos Treatment Process
Sunekos comes in two preparations: Sunekos 200 (suitable for clients with less visible wrinkles) and Sunekos 1200 (perfect for more visible signs of ageing). They can also be used in combination to provide the best results.
Sunekos 200 You will have 4 sessions on full face each 7-10 days apart. You can see a marked improvement as the treatments progress, but the entire course of 4 must be completed for the area to get the intended results
Sunekos 1200 for deeper wrinkles treating one area of concern, forehead, eyes, upper lip etc. treatment is two-part treatment taken 4 weeks apart.
The treatment does involve lots of little injections, but we use such fine needles that it is virtually painless and does not require local anaesthetic or numbing creams.
How long does Sunekos last?
Sunekos lasts up to 6 months, but research suggests that there is still improvement in the skin for approximately 8 months afterwards.
How much does it cost? –
Sunekos 200 £150 per treatment or £375 for course of 3.
Sunekos 1200 – £200 per treatment or £375 for a course of 2
Jalupro Treatment
Jalupro Classic & HMW Skin Bio-revitalisation
What are the benefits of JALUPRO?
JALUPRO is a sterile reabsorb able injectable solution which acts as a dermal bio revitaliser which is used for improving skin texture, brightening the skin and minimising evidence of fine lines & wrinkles. It is considered effective and safe. It is a unique, fast-acting solution that contains rich ingredients that support the radiance & rejuvenation of the skin. The solution has the powerful ability to plump & hydrate the skin. From filling in deep wrinkles to erasing unwanted stretch marks, this is a multifunctional treatment that also works to enhance other cosmetic treatments, such as dermabrasion and laser therapy.
Jalupro is ideal for clients that want a softer look or those that are not ready for dermal fillers. However, Jalupro can be combined with fillers and/or Botox to enhance the result.
How does it work?
Using a formulated blend of amino acids that work by feeding the connective tissues beneath the skin, this product helps to generate collagen and nourish the skin. The connective tissues, known as fibroblasts, lose their reparative abilities as the skin ages. As a result, wrinkles, and skin imperfections, such as stretch marks, appear and increase over time. The nutrient-rich amino acids present in this unique product support the function of deteriorating fibroblasts. JALUPRO can quickly restore the skin’s connective tissue to provide you with a healthy and smooth-looking complexion.
Which Jalupro is best for me?
There are two types of Jalupro : Classic & HMW.
Classic is more suited to the younger person who is exhibiting the first signs of skin ageing or to prevent them.
HMW contains more hyaluronic acid which is suitable for the older person and provides scaffolding for more aged skin, helps with deeper lines requiring more moisture and for deeper scars.
How many treatments will I require?
Jalupro Classic generally requires 3 treatments spaced 10 days apart.
Jalupro HMW generally requires 2 treatments spaced 20 days apart
How long will the treatment take?
JALUPRO treatments can be completed within 30-45 minutes depending on the area of focus and whether a topical numbing cream is applied prior to the injection.
Once the product is administered into the dermis, you will notice some instant results, including increased hydration and skin volume, and reduced signs of aging.
What can Jalupro be used for?
This aesthetic injectable can be used to improve several skin problems, including the appearance of light to medium degree photo-ageing, fine lines, and wrinkles, stretch marks, and acne scars.
JALUPRO can also be used in tandem with botulinum toxin injections, dermal peels, laser therapy and many more to extend the positive results of such treatments to achieve a more youthful complexion.
Jaupro HMW is more suited to the older person, 45ys+ as it contains more hyaluronic acid to give a little more volume to areas, décolleté, neck, hands, deep furrows, depressions, and scars. It also hydrates the skin of the face to give a smoother more even complexion.

Prior To Treatment
Like with any injectable procedure, it is essential to stay away, if medically possible, from blood thinning medications and alcohol 48 hours before your treatment to avoid bruising and excessive bleeding. We recommend coming in without makeup and drinking a lot of water to maintain a good hydration level. Arnica tablets help prevent any unwanted bruising.
Treatment
Seventy Hyal 2000 provides intense skin-deep hydration. Additional to its moisture-surging benefits, Seventy Hyal 2000 also adds gentle volume to the skin and can offer a temporary contouring effect if explicitly applied to facial areas that benefit from enhancement. Furthermore, when it comes to creating rejuvenated and hydrated-looking skin, it is crucial to delve into the layers of the skin. To revive dull-looking skin, we need to go beyond the skin’s dermis, and Seventy Hyal 2000 does just that (plus adding an array of other skin-boosting benefits). Topical products don’t have the same effectiveness as injectable skin treatments, but Seventy can provide the hydration that is so widely sought-after. Plus, unlike other skin boosters – Seventy Hyal 2000 aids in the bio-stimulation of new collagen resulting in glowing, healthy-looking skin. So, besides intensively hydrating the skin, it has a high Hyaluronic Acid molecular weight which means prolonged skin-stimulating activity. This means that although you will see instant results from the injectable skin treatment, the production of collagen and elastin will continue to reproduce over a long period – constantly combatting skin laxity. Seventy Hyal 2000 contains active fragments of HA at different molecular weights. Biological functions elicited are differentiated according to HA molecular weight.
What To Expect
The procedure is reported not to be uncomfortable by our patients; we can use some local numbing cream if necessary. When injecting the face area using multiples needles prick sequence. You should expect mild swelling, which can last 24 to 48 hours, and some potential redness around the treated areas. You can go back to work immediately, but the use of make-up is not allowed for 24 hours.
After Treatment
Aftercare / post-treatment care is imperative to ensure safety and, most importantly, treatment longevity. You must avoid extreme heat such as sauna, steam room, hot shower and hot bath for 24 to 48 hours. We recommend refraining from excise for 48 hours minimum, and if you are a make-up user, do not wear makeup for at least 24 hours from the treatment time. Any anti-inflammatory medications can increase bruising longevity.

Polynucleotide skin booster
What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are a type of skin injectable, comprising of polynucleotide chains (PDRN), which are DNA fragments that help to activate tired, aged and damaged cells to act younger and get to work again to promote skin repair. • Skin quality • Restoring radiance and freshness • Promoting bio-regeneration • Reducing wrinkles and skin laxity
Are Polynucleotides a Skin Booster?
Not exactly…Polynucleotides integrate with your body to stimulate Fibroblast and Collagen production, have anti oxidant properties to reduce inflammation and also binds water molecules promoting hydration!
Skin Boosters, which are made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA) mainly provide only a hydration boost for the skin.
How does Polynucleotide work?
Injecting Polynucleotide induces a histological transformation in tissue structures such as fibroblasts, osteoblasts, and adipocytes, resulting in bio-structuring across all tissue layers including bone, muscle, and adipose tissue. It reduces the appearance of pigmentation, and scars and deeply moisturises dehydrated skin. Lastly, it boosts, collagen production to improve skin firmness and elasticity. As a result, positive effects can be observed rapidly, with visible skin lift noticeable in just a few minutes.
