Ultimate Treatment Aftercare

After the treatment it is common for the area to feel warm. It is also common to experience some redness, swelling and tenderness in the treated area. As your Aesthetician, I take every precaution to ensure that your skin is well hydrated and calm following each session however, you may experience excessive dryness or even some peeling between session, which may or may not be normal. Always contact me if you have any concerns. More sensitive more redness after the first couple of sessions. This normally goes away after 2-3 hours. Dermaplaning may cause minor superficial abrasions which may not appear a day or two following your treatment.  The skin peel and mesotherapy may result in some redness and localised swelling as explained in your consent forms. If this should occur please contact me so that I can do a post treatment follow up with you. After your treatment spf30+ must be worn at all times. Tanning bed should never be used.

These symptoms may appear immediately or a few days post treatment.

It is important for your safety and for a successful treatment that you follow the below recommendations.

First 48 Hours Post Treatment

Do not pick or scratch or touch the treated area.

Avoid all creams, soaps, perfumed products or lotions on the treated area only use the given or recommended product by your therapist.

Avoid all heat treatments such as steam, hot baths/ shower, sauna, excessive exercise and swimming.

A cold compress can be applied to the area to remove any heat remaining in the skin.

If the area remains sensitive after 48hours please continue the above advice until the treated area returns to normal. If concerned please contact the salon.

Retin A/ Retinol AHA/BHA products should be avoided for atleast 7 days or until skin normalises.

To 30 Days After Treatment

Avoid exposure to UV sunlight this includes sunbeds

You should continue to use a high SPF on the skin when outside SPF 50 is recommended. Excessive exposure may result in skin colour changes (hypo/ hyper pigmentation).

Always contact the salon with any concerns or questions.
